1/5/12 - Half Ours keeps the New Year's celebration going with a HUGE winner at Gulfstream. Making it winner number 19, Harry T. Rosenblum's Gentlemen's Bet (c, 3, Half Ours - Lady of Sun, by Gentlemen {Arg}) went straight to the lead along the inside and drew off in the stretch to a seven 1/4 length romp.

Nikki, by The Prime Minister broke her maiden at Belmont first time out. She is the 10th two year winner for her sire. UNDAUNTED ELLA took the rail route to set the pace. A rival got a head in front, but UNDAUNTED ELLA got to the lead again, still hugging the rail.
She drew clear in the stretch and dug in to hit the wire in front. She is a NY Bred homebred for Gus Schoenborn Jr & David Kunz.

9/5/11 - HALF OURS now has his ninth 2 year-old winner, which makes for three new winners in three days! These ranged from the West Coast at Del Mar to the Northeast at Woodbine, and now last night down south at Evangeline Downs. Silver Bullet Gal won by four lengths and we congratulate trainer J K Desormeaux, owner Don't Tell My Wife Stables, and breeder Haras Santa Mario de Araras. This gives HALF OURS 9 2 year-olds winners from 17 starters!

Another exciting day for HALF OURS with his first STAKES WINNER, BACKDOOR KENNY, in the $85,000 Mountaineer Juvenile Stakes for 2 year olds at Mountaineer Park . Congratulations to owner Doubledown Stables, Inc., trainer James DiVito, breeders Ron Kirk and Poplar Hill Equine, LLC. and the Louisiana pilot, Joseph Talamo. BACKDOOR KENNY broke alertly, and took the lead soon after, going in a blistering 21:20, 44:16, 57:07 and 6 furlongs in 1.10:92. In doing so, he set a New Stakes Record!
7/4/11 - OUR HALF (c, 2, Half Ours - Risky Kitten, by Formal Gold) sccored in aMaiden Special Weight at Penn National. He set the pace through an opening quarter in :22.84. 5/18/11 - A HALF OURS colt out of G1 placed Hipocrite (Chi) ran a quarter mile in :21 3/5 on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the first session of the under tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Two-Year-Olds In Training Sale. He was one of four horses to cover the distance in the fastest time clocked for the day. The gr/ro colt (Hip #87) is consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc.
The second session of the under tack show is May 19. The sale will be held May 23 and 24.
With two juvenile winners already this year in his first crop, HALF OURS is Louisiana's Leading Freshman Sire.

ZINGWELLA , f, 2, Half Ours - Ms Well, by Mister Jolie, was part of a 4-5 Wesley Ward entry, and the filly ran to expectations in this 2 1/2-furlong sprint. Always in front, she scored by several lengths winning in her first effort. . Zingwella is the first winner for her freshman sire (by Unbridled's Song). She is owned by Wesley Ward & Ice Wine Stable and was bred by James H Glover (Ky).

9/16/10 - Thus far HALF OURS has had two yearlings through the ring at the Keeneland Yearling Sale for $95,000 and $150,000 and more to come!
8/7/01 - A Half Ours colt topped the sale on day one of the NY Bred Preferred Sale at Fasig Tipton, Saratoga. He was purchased by “Buzz” Chace, agent for West Point Thoroughbreds for $100,000. The colt is out of Dixie Lyrics, by Dixie Union.
Half Ours was also the leading sire on day one
(by average, two or more sold) with 2 sold for an average of $74,000.
8/2/10 - Half Ours filly brings $150,000 at Spa Opener. Hip #30 was purchased yesterday evening at the Fasig Tipton Saratoga Select Sale by Murray Smith, the highly successful pinhooker and a high end talent scout, has developed the likes of stars Monarchos, Smoke Glacken, Wild Fit, and others.
Half Ours to Clear Creek Stud in Louisiana
Grade 2 winner Half Ours has moved to Val Murrell’s Clear Creek Stud in Louisiana after standing his initial season at the Taylor family’s Taylor Made Farm in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
The six-year-old Unbridled’s Song horse will stand for $5,000 in 2010 after standing for $12,500 during his initial season. Out of the Storm Cat mare Zing, Half Ours won five of seven races and earned $319,680. He won the 2005 Three Chimneys Juvenile Stakes at Churchill Downs and the ’07 Richter Scale Sprint Championship Handicap (G2) at Gulfstream Park at age four.
Half Ours sold as a horse in training for $6.1-million during the 2006 Keeneland November breeding stock sale.
